Around this time the band changed their lineup, image and music. They became a full on rock n roll band, and went with their natural musical inclinations, leaving their strict RAK record label control, and thus the commercial pop scene behind. Nicholas Ferguson was called in as director of the second series, replacing Peter Walker. The band performed a number of their own self composed songs (recorded at Granada Television's Quay Street Studio) on their TV show that the label would not release, and these rare tracks only became available decades later on several Arrows CD compilations!
