FLASH NEWS - The lost tracks produced by Mickie Most and other never before released Arrows songs have been made available for the first time ever! The album, titled "A's, B's, and Rarites" is for sale on the EMI label UK, as of December 6th 2004.

An album of previously released 70s tracks, titled "Arrows, Singles Collection Plus" was pressed in August 2002. A collection of most of the band's recorded works from 1974-76, this was issued on Cherry Red Records. The Arrows made few recordings in their short time as a band. A little known fact about The Arrows is that during the two years they had their weekly TV series on ITV Granada UK '76-'77, the band released no recorded product. This was due to a legal dispute between their management and record company. This accounts for the small amount of released recordings by the band.

These are all the known recordings by the Arrows.

Arrows current related discography news is that the 3 lost Arrows tracks, produced by Mickie Most in 1974, are available on the "A's B's and Rarites" album on EMI. Released in 2005, the album includes never released Arrows TV tracks from the Arrow-Vision song contest that appeared on their weekly Granada ITV television series "The Arrows Show". Also an Arrows bootleg of their original demos featuring their first drummer John Siomos is available, titled Arrows - "Walk Away Renee"/"Dreamin'" this just made available in 2006.

Britney Spears recorded a version of The Arrows classic song "I Love Rock N Roll" on her new chart hit #1 album titled "Britney", and it was released as a single in the UK and Europe with a new video in the summer of 2002 and it topped the charts there. The song is also featured in her feature film "Crossroads", in a main scene. The Arrows 1975 composition was a huge hit for Joan Jett in 1982, and held the number one spot for 8 weeks in the USA, making Joan Jett an international star and a major rock 'n roll icon.

The song is now included on Britney's December 2004 Greatest Hits album, but only on the version released in Europe and Japan. The song was never released as a single in the USA, so it was not included on Britney's US greatest hits album copy.

-Update- 6/12/2004!! The Arrows new album "A's B's and Rarities" is released, containing 8 new and never before commercially released Arrows tracks. The 20 song CD is bound to please any Arrows fan, who have heard about these lost tracks for years.

18-8-2002 / The Arrows Singles Collection has just been released by Cherry Red Records in the UK. This CD will include the chart hits "Touch Too Much", "My Last Night With You" and "I Love Rock N Roll".

There have also been sitings of an Arrows bootleg titled The Arrows and Friends / "Tawny Tracks", which is rare and contains some of the lost Arrows demos, including several of the legendary Bill Wyman produced sessions. It is not an official release.

The previous, year 2000 Arrows CD release "First Hit" on Repertoire Records, has totally sold all copies. The license to release the recording has been taken over by Cherry Red records of the UK in the summer of 2002. To view the Repertoire Records version see the image below.
